🔧 Bug Fixes

🎫 Free Membership Registration

• Issue: Users trying to “purchase” free membership were incorrectly prompted for credit card details
• Impact: Users couldn’t access free membership benefits and cashback collection
• Resolution: Updated purchasing flow to skip credit card requirement for free items
• Status: ✅ Resolved

📧 Email Confirmation Redirect

• Issue: Account confirmation emails weren’t properly redirecting users to the platform frontend
• Impact: Users were stuck at “email confirmed” screen and had to manually navigate to our website
• Resolution: Updated email confirmation flow with correct redirect URLs
• Status: ✅ Resolved

📝 Product List Descriptions

• Issue: Product list pages showed truncated descriptions that weren’t useful for users
• Impact: Poor user experience and decision-making
• Resolution: Added concise product descriptions to list pages

🛂 Aeroplan Number Requirement for Student Pass

• Issue: The Aeroplan number field was not mandatory during student pass purchasing, but it is required by Air Canada
• Impact: Users who did not input their Aeroplan number saw their order fail
• Resolution: Made the Aeroplan number field mandatory for student pass purchases
• Status: ✅ Resolved
